Learn to sew in a supportive and fun environment!
Join us for a special parent/child beginning sewing workshop! Learn the basics of machine sewing alongside your child (ages 8 and up). We will work on creating a tote bag that you will get to take home. All materials provided, including sewing machines. You may bring your own sewing machine if you wish. Children must be at least 8 years old to participate, and there is no maximum age limit. No experience needed.
This workshop is designed for groups of two people (adult and youth). If you have more than one child or parent who wishes to participate, please sign them up separately. Each child must be paired with an adult. Registration is required.
Kathe Boyd is a local sewing teacher. You can find her work on Instagram @homesewnbykathe.
