Learn to make Oxmel, an herbal honey-vinegar-based tonic you can use as a salad dressing or as part of your daily health routine. Each participant will make their own oxmel to take home. This free, hands-on class is taught by Hanan Masri. Space for this program is limited; please call 510-981-6280 to reserve your place.
Hanan Masri is a certified herbalist, nutritionist, and teacher, as well as cofounder of High Road Scholars, a youth engagement business which supports the well-being of young people. Check out highroadscholars.com and UC Gill Tract farm for more on her bio. Hanan is also currently serving as the 2026-2028 Poet Laureate of Berkeley.
