Join us in celebrating Juneteenth, which commemorates the day in 1865 when General Order No 3 was issued to inform the enslaved people of Galveston, Texas that they had been freed by the Emancipation Proclamation nearly two years earlier.
We'll be playing uplifting music that highlights black independence, freedom, and joy, while learning about the history of the holiday.
Plus, there will be a button making activity and mini red velvet cupcakes from Cupcakin' Bake Shop!
