Abby Rocha is a creator that writes within the intersection of her latinidad and death. She's created and self published several short comics including "The Recipe For Heartbreak Tacos", "Bajo La Luna", and "Mercy". You can often find her dressed in black, communing with neighborhood cats.

Aida Irving

Aida Irving is an Oakland-based artist who enjoys her morning coffee, making sun prints, painting, and telling stories. Her work takes the form of fantastical creatures, magical landscapes, relationships in quaint spaces, and the mysticism and surrealism of it all. Aida’s practice primarily focuses on drawing but extends to painting, crafts, illustration, and short stories.

Cynta / Kanak-Kanak Press 

Cynta draws a lot of fictional memoirs/comics based on their life growing up as a trans nonbinary Muslim Malay person. Most of their work is influenced by his Malaysian culture/heritage, growing up aggressively Southeast Asian, and their deep love for cosmic horror mixed with a touch of sci-fi. They are also currently working on comics that focus on his alien immigrant status in the United States, living in small odd spaces in Oakland, and general writings about the international student experience.

Grey Sotelo

Grey Sotelo is a genderqueer Filipino writer and visual artist. Rooted in lived experience between the Philippines and the United States, their work confronts imperialism and the systems that sustain it. They center memory, survival, and belonging in their storytelling.

Mitchell Bercier/ ghostchamb3r 

Mitchell Bercier is a cartoonist, music producer and computer programmer. He produces music under the name ghostchamb3r and you can find his music, including his live coding performances and work from his time as a McKnight Composer Fellow as well as his work for the Minnesota Opera, under that name on most streaming services. You can also find his computer programming work on github as ghostchamb3r!

M Lions

M Lions is a black, white, and Native American cartoonist currently working on a series about werewolves, vampires and alien abduction. Her comics usually involve a mixture of social commentary, supernatural silliness, and her own personal history.
