In the last session, we covered the many problems of corporate social media platforms. We introduced the "Fediverse", which is a decentralized ecosystem of ad- and surveillance-free platforms.
In our next session, we will provide a walkthrough for those interested in joining Mastodon, the biggest platform on the Fediverse. We will make accounts, review privacy settings, and explore the functionality of Mastodon.
