Storytime in Cantonese and English
Join us in the North Branch meeting room on Wednesday, December 3 at 10:30am for a special Cantonese bilingual storytime with author Beatrice Tebbe.
Beatrice will be reading from Shapes at Dim Sum, their new bilingual Chinese/English board book celebrating culture and language through the joyful tradition of Dim Sum.
This event will be in the place of our regular storytime.
About the book:
Designed for toddlers and preschoolers, Shapes at Dim Sum introduces little learners to essential shapes while highlighting beloved Chinese dishes and family traditions. Dim sum favorites like dumplings, baos, and teapots are paired with easy-to-recognize shapes. Bilingual language support in English, Traditional Chinese, and Jyutping (Cantonese romanization).
