A Friendly Gathering with Strangers to Chat about Death.
You are invited to a Death Café experience where people, often strangers, gather to discuss death.
The objective is “to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives”. The experience will be a group discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counseling session. Death Cafés help people talk about death and dying in a supportive, unstructured way.
Registering for the event is appreciated. But, unlike the Pearly Gates, no one will be turned away!
