Opera in an Hour programs are presented in partnership with San Francisco Opera
Join us for a shorter, family-friendly film screening of a classic Italian opera, performed by members of the San Francisco Opera company!
Our opera for today is the Barber of Seville. The music was composed by Gioachino Rossini with words (libretto) by Cesare Sterbini. In the story, Figaro the Barber helps two young sweethearts find their happily ever after. Join them in a series of disguises, tricks and comic twists and turns.
We'll start at 4:00pm before the show and craft opera glasses with washi tape and markers.
Recommended for ages 5 and up.
