Learn about Ramadan through picture books about the holiday read by a local educator and storyteller. Ages 5 and up.
A local Muslim educator, storyteller, and writer - will be sharing picture books about the month of Ramadan. She will be explaining the rite of fasting in the Muslim faith, how to be sensitive towards the needs of your fellow classmates and friends who may be observing the fasts, and any pertinent questions you may have about this core pillar of the religion of Islam.
All are welcome to attend this free storytime. Ages 5 and up.
