You can be a great library aide!
Public, private, special, academic, and school libraries often have entry-level positions with stellar opportunities to train into bigger roles.
We'll go over common requirements for library jobs, types of roles available, and benefits and challenges of working in library settings. Come to learn about working in different types of libraries. Stay to get hands-on library aide practice and a behind-the-scenes tour!
This workshop is designed for young adults and new adults who are joining the workforce. Everyone interested in entry-level library employment is welcome! No hiring or applications will occur during this event- just good ol' fashioned learning about what it's like to work in a library.
