An estimated 70 to 80% of people in the workforce are considering making a job change at any time. As we turn the page to 2026, we expect to see this rate continue. If a job change is ahead for you, join us in discussing factors that could fit into your planning. Be forewarned that a job search has many moving parts, lots of crossroads decisions, and many time-consuming steps. Brace yourself against being overwhelmed!
Our pointers and questions answered will help. We will cover the high points and address specifics as they come up. Here are the major topics:
Prioritizing job types to target for your next position. This involves research and several steps including identifying and analyzing key words. We will also cover ways to present achievements. Selecting your resume organization, layout, and formatting and following best practices is a big task. In addition, we will address ways to avoid sabotaging your job search. Interviewing and Cover Letter preparation, plus developing related supplemental resources that reinforce your claim on a position, will round out our discussion. We will show examples of resumes designed to emphasize strengths and adhere to industry styles.
Attendees are encouraged to bring questions, ideas, and tips to share.
