Learn about Wright's legacy in California and the appearance of his work in films such as Blade Runner, Gattaca, and Rush Hour
Join us for a book talk and signing by Mark Anthony Wilson as he discusses his new book on Frank Lloyd Wright. While Wright's influence on architecture can’t be overstated, his unique creations have also left a lasting impression on movie audiences, with eight of Wright’s California buildings having served as dramatic settings for stories about power, wealth and dystopian futures. With behind-the-scenes production facts and a peek into Wright’s design process, author Mark Anthony Wilson recounts the legacy of Frank Lloyd Wright’s architecture in the movies.
