Community Organized Relief Effort (CORE) works alongside Bay Area communities to strengthen preparedness and reduce risk from climate-driven disasters like earthquakes, wildfires, and floods. We offer hands-on disaster preparedness workshops, train-the-trainer programs, and free preparedness resources in 25 languages, while supporting community-led efforts such as urban greening, bioswales, gardens, composting, and food distribution. As we expand our work in the East Bay, we are focused on building partnerships with local organizations and leaders to better understand community needs and support practical, long-term resilience.
