Resumes: Stop the sabotage!
Leverage elements that empower your job campaign
Tuesday, August 11
5:00pm - 6:15pm
An interactive event for job seekers
Against the horizon of shifting demand in job skills by 2030, you are invited to join in discussing steps you can take to strengthen your chances of landing a position that meets your near-term goals that could also set you up for a brighter career future. We will launch our discussion by clearing out factors that may sabotage the way forward. Then we will break down alternative job pivot routes–easy to difficult. You will see ways job seekers have reinvented themselves for new career roles, along with tips to stand out from the crowd and avoid resembling an AI generated resume. We will emphasize use of headings (LinkedIn) and taglines that engage the reader and convey your relevance to the position you want. Join us in sharing ideas and insights into this topic. Bring your job searching questions and offer tips to share, too.
