North Branch Meeting RoomLearn how to use manual and power tools safely and successfully!
Join us for TWO informational and hands-on learning experiences with tools, taught by 9th Street Lab!
- On Tuesday, July 7th, Steve Tornallyay of 9th Street Lab will teach us how to use a measuring tape, square, pencil, hand saw, clamps, hammers, and more while we build a simple wood-based project.
- On Tuesday, July 21st, we'll do a woodworking project with 9th Street Lab while learning to safely and effectively utilize the most useful power tool: the battery-operated drill/driver.
These sessions are built for new adults, young adults, teens, and tweens; participants must be at least 9 years old. Registration is required! Due to the very limited space and materials, we ask that you only register hands-on participants. You may register for one or both sessions.
9th Street Lab is a skills-focused woodworking experience for all ages based in Berkeley, CA and founded by Steve Tornallyay, an industrial and environment design expert. We are very grateful and excited to have Steve leading both workshops and sharing his extensive experience and accumulated knowledge with us!
