Bug Power: From Super Strength to Web Slinging! Dr. Stephanie Dole's new book reveals that superpowers aren’t just for the movies. Take a closer look at the extraordinary abilities of bugs and discover how humans have harnessed them for our own technologies and invention.
Dr. Stephanie Dole, the Beetlelady, has been educating the public about insects since 1997. She has extensive experience as a scientist, educator, and researcher with field experience studying insects in the Ecuadorian Amazon, Costa Rica, Guyana, Thailand, the Sonoran Desert, the Sierra Nevada, and throughout California. She just released her first book, Bug Power in 2026.
