North Branch Meeting RoomCelebrate Disability Pride Month!
This July, in honor of Disability Pride Month, the North Branch of the Berkeley Public Library presents Sound Advice, a talk by photographer and creator Nancy Rubin.
Using portraits and personal stories, Sound Advice shows the lived experiences of people with hearing loss. These stories show the daily challenges faced by people with hearing loss. The project features people ages 6 - 95 years old. The exhibit invites the audience to learn more about this often invisible disability, building understanding and awareness.
The exhibit can be viewed on Nancy's website.
