Learn how to turn a precious memory into a comic strip
Magic In The Mundane. Please join us for an all ages comic art workshop in celebration of Free Comic Book Day! Our featured guest, cartoonist Dimetria Tokunbo, will teach us how to utilize our most precious memories and stories as inspiration for memoir-style comic art. After learning these art techniques, attendees will be given space to come up with their own comic-inspired creations. We will provide art supplies and a display of comic books, mini zines, and handouts for you to enjoy. May 4th, 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m., West Branch Community Meeting Room.
