Alternative Theater Ensemble presents: When they ask if we were real
Alternative Theater Ensemble presents: When They Ask If We Were Real, a global performance project that brings people of different generations and cultures together to share stories, questions, and imagination in the age of A.I.
The project has grown through workshops on three continents, including local collaborations with Berkeley Public Library, Dominican University of California, East Oakland Youth Development Center, and State of Play Embassy.
People of all ages have shared thoughtful and surprising questions:
Join us at Berkeley Public Library West Branch on Saturday, February 21 @ 2 PM for a special staged reading of this project. The event will include scenes, storytelling, live music, and an art display from participants around the world. After this event, the full production will open at Marin Theatre for its U.S. premiere.
This project is made possible by the Kenneth Rainin Foundation.
