In the Stax is a live music series where artists perform in an intimate setting and can connect with community while sharing their sound inside the library stacks.
Tonight will feature singer Muwazu who is a Bay Area native who spent many days in this very library. As a teenaged librarian from 7th grade through 10th she spent hours in the teen room reading manga and setting up game nights. She is currently working as a college advisor fellow through UC Berkeley in a charter school in Oakland. In her spare time she enjoys knitting, roller-skating and line dancing.
