***Registration Full***
Celebrate the 10th anniversary of Berkeley Walks (now published by Heyday Books) with a history hunt in the North Berkeley neighborhood southwest of the North Branch library led by coauthors Bob Johnson and Janet Byron, featuring traces of commuter trains along Hopkins Street, Codornices Creek, the Peralta Park development, Japanese American businesses, and the Spanish Peralta adobe.
Gather for the history hunt at 2 p.m in front of the North Branch Library, followed by refreshments and a book signing back at the Library at around 3:30 p.m. This will be an easy stroll of approximately 1.75 miles, on sidewalks with no stairs.
Registration is required for this event.
