Local pop-punk band Gloomy June is performing a free concert at the Central Library, Tuesday July 8th from 6-7pm.
In the Stax continues its summer series with another free concert in July. Join us on Tuesday, July 8th at the Central Library for a free performance by Gloomy June. They are a local pop-punk band with sounds reminiscent of early 2000s pop-punk, like My Chemical Romance, AFI and Jimmy Eats World but with their own twist. The band has described their sound as "the soundtrack of a beach party tinged with melancholy… pop refracted through an anxious lens.. often queer, and always a little tragic." (Fame Magazine Interview, 2022)
Show starts at 6pm on the 2nd floor!
