Gathering Together to Read a Different Play each Month
Playreaders do exactly what the name says: it’s an interactive program where participants read aloud from plays, changing parts frequently so everyone gets a chance to bring theater to life.
July's Play will be Aristophane's The Frogs. Written around 405 BC, this comedy is a mix of irreverent humor and highbrow satire of Athenian politics.
Please note, for the month of July we will be meeting in the History Room on the 2nd floor.
Registration is not necessary but Do Register if you would like to find out about upcoming plays and other Playreader News!
