Learn Effective Resume Building Skills from Marilyn Tullius
What a murky and unpredictable job market we have in 2025! As expressed by clients and workshop attendees, “Things I have done in the past to get a job are not working this time.” Isn’t this is a signal to think about getting in the driver’s seat and venturing forth to try new approaches? We will discuss 7 possibilities: (1) Do more, faster: intensify your effort; (2) Spring into action with new activities! no more passive waiting; (3) Upgrade: enhance and update your resume and LinkedIn profile; (4) Reinforce your resume: surround it with communication pieces about accomplishments that impress your reader; (5) Rebrand: create an image or uplevel your branding; (6) Leverage your networks: reach out to job leads and people; (7) Rethink your career targets: check alignment between your resume and job postings you pursue; reflect on lessons learned in your job search; pivot as appropriate. Bring your questions and issues to the workshop. We’ll unravel the mysteries together. And bring your tips to share with all.
