When updating your resume, just entering your most recent job description to your resume will not get you where you want to be. Think instead of a resume that echoes the key words of your prospective employer’s job posting and reinforces your claim on the job you want. You can improve your resume’s performance by taking advantage of several options including announcing the role you are targeting by using a resume heading, prominently showing your relevant skills, developing a summary list of experience that convinces the reader you will be an outstanding performer, presenting bullet points that feature accomplishments similar to the employer’s job posting, and emphasizing strengths to show you can meet challenges and solve problems. Our discussion will be influenced by the interests of attendees. You may expect lots of interaction and will be encouraged to ask questions.
