THPS Branch Meeting RoomPreparedness is stronger when we do it together. Join neighbors to learn, share, and build practical skills that help keep our communities safe during emergencies.
Together, we will:
- Walk through how to sign up for local emergency alerts so you stay informed
- Talk about hazards specific to your community and what they mean for you
- Discuss what you should do before, during, and after disasters
- Learn how to make a plan, build a go bag, and set up a stay box
Community Organized Relief Effort (CORE) works alongside Bay Area communities to strengthen preparedness and reduce risk from climate-driven disasters like earthquakes, wildfires, and floods. We offer hands-on disaster preparedness workshops, train-the-trainer programs, and free preparedness resources in 25 languages, while supporting community-led efforts such as urban greening, bioswales, gardens, composting, and food distribution. As we expand our work in the East Bay, we are focused on building partnerships with local organizations and leaders to better understand community needs and support practical, long-term resilience.
