Celebrate Valentine's Day with an inclusive, creative workshop!
Join us on Valentine’s Day to celebrate our stories of love. We’ll write haiku poems about the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Also: Make your own Valentine card! All materials provided or feel free to bring your own.
But wait, there’s more!! Enter a raffle to win a box of delicious locally made chocolates generously donated by FEVE Artisanal Chocolatier.
Event host Tamar Senyak brings years of experience teaching creative writing and poetry both as a teacher in Bay Area schools and in China. She is a two-time participant of the local nanowrimo book writing event, as well as a three-time participant on the Moth story telling stage. She hopes this inaugural Valentine's event at the North Berkeley Library will be the start of a beautiful relationship.
